Viewing client signal in Instant
Viewing client signal in Instant
05-22-2017 12:16 PM
Hi guys,
While checking some points in the Instant GUI I have realized about the signal a client is receiving, this is the graph in the RF trends tab:
The signal is about 25 dB. On one hand, the signal received by clients are measured in dBm and not dB. On the other hand the signal received by clients are in the range of -dBm, so 25 dB would be impossible. What am I missing?
Regards,
Julián

The numbers are the signal strength that the AP sees from the client. If the number is positive, it is SNR. If it is negative, it is dbm.
