I need to create a virtual controller between 2 types of Access Point.
    Part Numbers:
    - AP-318-RW (firmware v 8.3.0.0)
    - IAP-314-RW (firmware v 6.5.4.8)

I do not know if I'm doing it right but it doesn´t work.
I have configured the model 314 as a Virtual Controller and I have published an SSID, etc.
I connect to the network the model 318 and I see that the DHCP gives him address of the same network and I can do it PING.
When I try to enter the 318 model via WEB, it redirects me to the IP of the Virtual Controller but in the list of access points the model 318 does not appear and it does not publish SSID.

    Can you help me?
    How should I configure it?
Is it a problem with versions and firmware?

    Thanks!

    I update the post.

I have connected other AP314 and after updating the firmware automatically has been connected correctly to the controller and publishes the configured SSID.
Looking at the driver configuration code, I see that the 3 APs connected to my network are now allowed, but only connect the 314 APs models.

    allow-new-aps
    allowed-ap 38:17:c3:c7:84:58
    allowed-ap 80:8d:b7:cf:76:f4
    allowed-ap 38:17:c3:c7:86:96

    Can you think of something?
It's my first time with Aruba teams.

So to confirm the both of the IAP's are running the same firmware correct? This is InstantOS 8.3?

Do you see anything in the logs for the MAC of the 318 trying to connect?

    Hello zalion.

These are the firmware versions actually..

    - AP-318-RW (firmware v 8.3.0.0)
    - IAP-314-RW (firmware v 6.5.4.8)

In the Tech Support Dump I can see this information:

Upgrade the AP314 to the same 8.3 version as the AP318, then they should join the cluster.
