Wireless Access

I've got a point to multipoint configuration at a customer site and whent he main mesh portal goes down, another portal is supposed to take over. 

This is not happening. Once the main portal goes down, the entire mesh goes down and the redundant portal stays up. Where can I check this configuration? The system has worked in the past and just stopped working when upgrading from an old controller to a 7200.

Can you please share how you have this configured ?

Do all portals need to be on the same channel?

They need to be on same mesh link channel on .11a
