    Hello experts ,

since HPE has taken over Aruba , so the controllers that i have in the existing environment would have new HPE serial numbers ?

i would have to renew the contract for the 7010 aruba controllers that i have in my existing network , and HPE is asking for some new HPE serial numbers which i dont have .   the serial number just contains 9 digits and they require a 10 digit serial number.

    could somebody help please ?

all i have is below serial numbers

    UAM-BRLO1-MB00MDF-WC01) #show inventory

That doesn't make sense. Just checked a few serials on controllers I've been working on recently and they're 9 characters long.

New Aruba products will have serial numbers in the 10 digit HPE format, while older ones use the9-digit Aruba format.

Serial numbers are permanently associated with the product, and cannot be changed.
