Has anyone put this together before, and can you share with me?

I want to see for 1 day or for a time period the breakdown of devices by Operating System on a specific SSID.

I am interested as I am having an issue with my captive portal breaking the keychains of mac os X clients 10.7, 10.8 ..  and I want to see how many of them are connecting to my captive portal SSID.  I'd also like to compare that with how many of them are connecting to my 802.1x SSID and then compare it against the numbers for the other OS's in a similar fashion.

    Thanks,

    Matt

At first glance, try creating a new "client session" report.  In the report definition for this particular report, you can filter based on OS or device type or simply filter on the SSID.  The SSID option is about halfway down the page.  See the pic below:Screen Shot 2013-07-23 at 9.04.06 AM.png
