What is the default TLS version for ClearPass version 6.9 onwards?

  • What is the default TLS version for ClearPass 6.9 onwards for WebUI TLS transactions?
  • What is the default TLS version for ClearPass 6.9 onwards for Authentication transactions like 802.1x (EAP-PEAP,EAP-TLS,etc)?


A:

 

 

  • Starting from the 6.9 version, the default TLS version for WebUI and Authentication process would be TLS1.2
  • TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 would be disabled by default in Cluster Wide Parameters:

            

  • In case if clients does not support TLS 1.2 then we would need to enable TLS 1.0/TLS 1.1 from Cluster Wide Parameters.
