Hi, the HP ProCurve 2920 (now called Aruba 2920) with HP ProVision WB.16.03.0004 (April 2017) could be upgraded to latest ArubaOS-Switch version WB.16.10.0016, both the source and destination versions use the same BootROM version (WB.16.03) so you should expect just a single reboot during the entire upgrade procedure (WB.16.03.0004->WB.16.10.0016).
The WB.15.18.0010 is one year earlier (April 2016) than the WB.16.03.0004 and it should probably run with the BootROM version WB.15.05 so you can either go to WB.16.10.0016 (and expect TWO reboots, the first due to the BootROM update, the second due to the Application Software update) or go via an interim release carrying the BootROM WB.16.03 (exactly the WB.16.03.0004, as example <- keep in mind that, as example, the WB.16.02.0010 of August 2016 carried the BootROM WB.16.02...so if you plan to go through an interim release like the WB.16.02.xxxx then expect the Switch to reboot twice since the BootROM will be upgraded...and then the same will apply between the WB.16.02.xxxx to the latest WB.16.10.0016)...IMHO...you could perform a straight upgrade process from WB.15.18.0010 to WB.16.10.0016 (and just be prepared to see the Switch to reboot twice automatically but just one time only). The "watershed" is, for what I recall, the WB.16.03.xxxx which carried the same BootROM version we see on today latest ArubaOS-Switch versions.

Subject: Aruba 2920 Upgrade Path
Hello guys
Im about to upgrade many switches 2530s. 3810,2920
I could see on the realise note that on the 3810 and 2530 there is like a minimum version in which you need to have the switch to upgrade it directly or at least thats what i understood(im not a native english speaker)
For example for a 2530 it shows this table
I could see a similar table for 3810 but for a 2920 there is a separate release note and there is not a minimum supported area in the release note
My 2920 are really olds
version 16.03.0004 in one 2920 o and 15.18.0010 in the other one.
Could you guys help me to know if i can upgrade directly or there is a proper upgrade path for this?
Thanks
