If you have
ClearPass, you can synchronize to Aruba Activate and automatically retrieve the mac-addresses of your APs. Then you can configure the RAP allowlist to query your ClearPass. If you don't have access to Activate, adding the MAC addresses to the Endpoint Repository with a specific attribute to query would work as well.
Another option, if you have a list of the MAC addresses, you can proactively add those to the allowed list (easiest through the CLI, if you don't have ClearPass). Your seller can probably provide you even with such a list when the APs are shipped.

Subject: Converting Instant AP to Remote APs
Good Afternoon,
We currently have two 7210 Mobility Controllers, which are still running ArubaOS 6.5.4.12. Which we are looking to update in the coming months
However we are currently purchasing IAP-305s which we are able to convert to RAP mode, however each time we need to edit the Whitelist on the Mobility Controllers to get these to successfully connect. Is there a way to get them to automatically connect through? Ie have I missed something in the config.
Kind Regards
Tatyana
