Hello Sir,
Our L3 device is the 7100 which is performing all the required IP functions. Each Vlan is getting an IP except vLan 1 which was also set to DHCP. I put all the info in the other post above.
thanks for the thoughtful reply! I truly appreciate it.

Subject: How to rout between vlans in Aruba 2530-48G by web interface ?
Hi Ernest, I tried to formulate an answer by replying on the linked thread. Just a note: the legacy HP ProCurve 2530 Switch series (or the current rebranded Aruba 2530 Switch series) doesn't support Layer 3 features...no IP routing. You can create VLAN (Layer 2) but the routing between them should be performed by an external/additional Layer 3 capable device (Switch/Firewall/Router/etc.).

hello,
I know this post was a few years ago, but since i don't know the hpe-2530 very well...I just posted a question at:
https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=61&MessageKey=8902f06f-8c01-4da4-93b4-66c6255051a3&CommunityKey=0e07426b-9490-40f0-bb66-f95a4b8a674f&tab=digestviewer&ReturnUrl=%2fcommunity-home%2fdigestviewer%3fcommunitykey%3d0e07426b-9490-40f0-bb66-f95a4b8a674f%26tab%3ddigestviewer
Not sure if what you are saying here is what I have configured? If so, I still can't get the inter vlan routing working?

Greetings!
The 2530 is a Layer 2-only switch, and as such does not support inter-VLAN routing. You would need to tag the VLANs across the uplink to the router and configure it to perform any desired routing there.
