2-tier design with one core switch?

For a small network with a 2930f and 3 2530s, would I create a trunk link between the 2930 to the 2530s and not between the 2530s, or use a trunk link between all of them?

Basically, it is a 2-tier design, but with one core switch.

    Thank you!

Hello Alex, pay attention that - in the HP/Aruba jargon for HP ProVision/Aruba ArubaOS-Switch operating system based switch series (like the case of Aruba 2930F and HP/Aruba 2530 switch series) - the term (Port) "Trunk" means Links Aggregation (with Non-Protocol or LACP as control protocol).

Given that you would set the Aruba 2930F as the Core for your little network (VLANs' interface IP addresses will be assigned to VLANs you need to be routed) and single link (or multiple - aggregated - links) could be used to extend the various VLANs necessary on each Aruba 2530 switch, considering that this extension means only to have the physical (or logical - in case of Port Trunk) tagged with VLAN Ids you want to be transported up to your Aruba 2530.
