IMC E0706 - SFTP error upgrading software Comware

    Hello,

    Since IMC V7.3 E0706 (even the new one E0706P11), IMC is not able to upgrade the software of Comware Based switches (5130, 5510, 5140) with SFTP as default file transfer mode.
    The error message is: "The device cannot recognize the uploaded device software".

    Using TFTP mode solved the problem.

    Does anyone have the same problem? Or better, an idea ? :-)

    This problem should be fixed in P11 .If you have another expirience please open a case with HPE support.

    Thanks for your reply.

    The P11 solved the problem I read in another discussion of config file backup in SFTP Server mode ("SSH authentication error"), but not this one.
    I'll wait...

    Hello Jean,

    That is correct the fix is for "SSH authentication error" . I would recommend you to put imcupgdm process on debug and run a Wireshark trace. Thsi might help finding the cause.
