IMC SFTP Server mode backup of 8320

    Hi

    Trying to get the config backups to IMC. Have configured SNMPv3 on 8320 thus TFTP doesn't work and need to run SFTP Server mode. Have installed SSH Server on IMC box and it works fine to transfer SFTP files from 8320 CLI. But the script in IMC doesn't execute correctly to instruct 8320 to run the backup.

    Have configured mgmt VPN, UIDs and PWDs correctly.

    IMC version 7.3

    Have already done that. Have configured a third party SFTP Server on same box as IMC and can run SFTP from my 8320s CLI with no problem. But when running config file backup from IMC in SFTP Server mode things fail.

    Hello there,

    I will recommend you to put imccfgbak process on debug (System-System configuration-Log configuration )  and than check the corespondive  log to see what is exactly going on.

    Perhaps there is a known issue   using SFTP server mode on iMC version E0706P06.

    HPE IMC 7.3 E0706p06 after upgrade to p06 configuration failed to backup with ssh authentication error

    If you have this issue you will need to open a case with support to get the patch or wait for the next release, which will solve this issue.Next release is expected soon (begin of April).
