We are running AOS-10 on a few sites in our environment and with the new release there is now a monitor only mode for switches. The issue we are having is that the existing groups cannot be edited to include this feature. We have almost 70 groups and don't want to add another 70 just for switches or have to recreate 70 new groups. The clone feature doesn't allow us to go back and include monitor only mode as it only clones the group with the existing settings. Does anyone know a way to go back and edit the existing groups?

Groups in Central are used to hold configuration. For switch monitor only there is no configuration, so a single group for all your switches should be good. You can use sites and/or labels to slice/dice/organize your environment in Central.

Once you have that Monitor Only group, you can just move switches to that group.

AFAIK, you can't change the type of a group after creation.
