To avoid co-channel interference:
1. Make design first ;)
2. Lower tx-power
2. use smaller channels
3. use more channels (why don't use DFS channels?)
4. correct ap placement (horizontal)
5. remove ap's
6. disable dual 5ghz if AP support it (like a AP-340)
If you have secondair AP coverage the negative impact of DFS/RADAR events should be minimal because a client can easily roam to another channel when a event occur. Off course keep an eye on the arm/airmatch event logging for RADAR events, but i cant believe all channels are effected continue.
Also make sure your coverage requirements in Ekahau, what do you set as "co-channel interference at minimum signalstrenght" (should be arround -85dBm).
How many co-channel interference do you have? When your channel utilization stays low it doesn't have much impact.

Nothing special, requirement-wise.
Thanks Fredrik

Hi!
I wouldn't lower transmit power that will have impact on coverage. You want to to go 20mhz wide channels as CJoseph says. It better to have clean air than a lot of CCI or OBSS. What kind of requirements do you have? I have yet to see a project where 20mhz is not enough to run the payload.

Just did a walkaround with an Ekahau Sidekick.
Its reporting significant co-channel interference.
Unless I override ARM, what are my options?a) remove some of the floorplan's APs
or
b) lower their transmit power
or
c) enable DFS channels? (not an option)
This is a 13 year old building, 15 feet between floors. Metal studs, drywall.
We steer to 5GHz.
