    Title says it all.  Our switches are heavily configured with Clearpass and lots of additional configuration on top of that.  UI groups don't provide a lot of configuration options and Template groups, while not terrible, are not a great answer to our diverse environment.  What I am looking for is the ability to maintain CLI management and monitor and maybe manage to a degree (similar to Airwave).

    Maybe not an ideal work-around, but you can turn off auto commit for a group or individual device.
    Go to Group->Configuration Audit and turn Auto Commit off by entering "Change to Auto commit state OFF"
    To change config on AOS-Switch you need to enter: aruba-central support-mode enable
    Don't forget to back-up your configs because Central does not know the config you changed.

    Agree that not all features are available via the GUI config, but every release we see more features been added. Template based config gives you the best flexibility and even in a diverse environment the use of variables are very powerful.
