Could you please try the following:
Boot to the serviceOS of the module using the following command on the switch
ProCurve Switch 8212zl(config)# services <slot> boot service
After that you should see the following prompt
SvcOS Login:
Please enter the user name diagnostics here and press Enter. You will be presented with the following menu:
SvcOS Login: diagnostics
…
…
…
Controller Diagnostics
----------------------
- Exit and reboot
- Show hardware information
- Show health status
- Run disk diagnostics
- Restore factory image to disk
- Power off controller
Select 1-6>
Please select Option 5 - Restore Factory Image to Disk
Select 1-6> 5
This will replace the existing software image on the disk with
the factory image. Afterwards you will need to upgrade to
your desired version and reload your config.
Continue (y/n)? y
This will take a few minutes
Successful
Exit and reboot will take several minutes. Continue (y/n)? y
After the module reboots please test if you are able to boot the productOS.

I received a new one from HP but there is no OS on the HDD so i can't boot in Product os. Still have the No boot device message on serial view.
