    Hi!

While debugging other issue I noticed that DPI doesn't seem to work properly on my 7010 controller running 8.7.1.1
Exactly the same configuration works well on 7210 running 8.7.0.0.
I can see that committed configuration DOES have DPI activated
(Aruba7010) [mynode] #show configuration committed | include dpi
    dpi

but it's not in firewall configuration (despite being enabled)
    (Aruba7010) [mynode] #show firewall | include DPI
DPI Classification Disabled [Cfg: enabled, PEF license: installed]

and not in running config either
    (Aruba7010) [mynode] #show running-config | include dpi
    Building Configuration...
    (Aruba7010) [mynode] #

the only configuration difference is that 7210 has own licenses, and 7010 uses that 7210 as remote server for licensing.
I already tried rebooting number of times turning dpi on/off - doesn't help.

any suggestions on how to proceed with debugging this?

    thanks!

    Hi Andrey,

Not sure if you already found a solution but from my point of view, it looks like you haven't enabled the PEFNG feature in the license settings.
AP feature is activated by default but all the other features, like PEFNG or RFProtect need to be enabled manually.
    could you just check?
