Can you check the logs on the console of the AP?
Can you check the logs on the controller (show log all 200)? And 'show ap database'?
Have you allow-listed (whitelisted in 8.7) the AP?
It's expected that there is no WebUI after conversion of the AP.

- I have Aruba virtual controller with version 8.7.1.1 with license Aruba Cntrlr Per AP Capacity Lic E-LTU 90-D trial
- and i have aruba access point 505 connected to aruba switch
- The controller ping the access point successfully and after convert access point to campus controller "conversion successfully" but the access point doesn't appear in the controller,and after conversion success i can't access aruba ap GUI
