    Hi Community

    Have you made a WLAN deployment with controllers in different geographical areas?

    The original idea is to have two controllers, one on the main site and the other on the secondary site, one backup of the other.
    Additionally, the APs managed by the Controller. Each PA is held in geographically separate sites.

    Each site has two links from its service provider. And the connectivity between the local networks of each site is given through static GRE tunnels on IPSEC.

    If the controller at one site is down, the ipsec tunnel would be down between both controllers.  There would be no path for the APs at one site to connect to the controller at the other site.  If there is an existing path, there is no need for a site to site tunnel between controllers...
