I have to connect an 8320 with Aruba 40G QSFP+ LC BiDi 150m MMF (JL308A) with a Cisco Nexus which use the Cisco QSFP-40/100-SRBD transceiver.

Due to the datasheet the Aruba transceiver works with 850 nm

and Cisco works with 855 nm

Is it possible to build up a link between those transceiver?

    Thanks

    Hi Frank,
As far as I know, nowadays 40GE bidirectional transceivers are prorietary, they do not follow a IEEE standard, so the only way to know if the transceivers you mentioned work together it is trying them on the field.

    Hi,

did you try the transcivers. Are they working together on the same line?

    Thanks
