Clearpass Rollback RPM package and upgrading to v6.8.1

    Our Clearpass servers are currently running 6.8.0 and there are two new patches available:

    Patch ClearPass Policy Manager Cumulative Patch 1 for 6.8.0* 6.8.1.109777

    Patch ClearPass 6.8.0 Rollback RPM Package


    The documentation isn't clear as to whether the Rollback package is required to be installed before installing the patch/upgrade to 6.8.1 or if it's only required to undo the 6.8.1 patch upgrade should there be a problem?

    It’s so you can roll back to 6.8.0 if there is an issue. It’s not required but you will have to go back to 6.7.x and upgrade tp 6.8.0 if there are any issues
