Clearpass Swap Memory and Swap Disk

    Hi.

     

    My clearpass hardware appliance is starting to use more and more swap memory and disk, my main memory is at about 18% and my swap memory is at 16% all the time.

    Disk is at 7% and swap at 17%.

    Is that normal? why use swap when there is alot og main.

    Thinking about making at tac case about it, but would like to hear you guys about it if thats normal.

    That is normal and how Unix based systems do memory allocation. Check here for the backgrounds. No need to worry. If you still are in doubt, please reach out to Aruba TAC.
