onboard over vpn

    we would like to have our home users onboard their devices over vpn connections. Can this be done and if so, is there any supporting documentation on the work effort?

    can you provide some more details?

     

    like who should set up the VPN? between which devices? isn't https enough? ...

    not sure I understand. These are corp users at home using dialing in with VPN. If they do not have the corp cert on the device they need to get routed to onboard their home device (win/mac). 

     

    as for https, are you suggesting they manually go to a captive portal to onboard once connected to the vpn?

    I don't believe Onboarding is possible via VPN since some attributes are not
    available for the Onboard process.

    You could do web enrollments.
