Hello! I recently came across a new in box switch and it says "HPE Demo Program" on the box. Not sure where it came from. Is this usable equipment? What is different about "HPE Demon Program" gear?

I would not expect that switch to be different from other switches. It's probably that if you don't return that box, that you will get invoiced for it, and/or it may be reported as stolen. Details may differ from country to country, but in general, the HPE Demo Program allows customers to 'loan' equipment for demo/testing/proof-of-concept, and buy it if they want to keep it or return it if the proof-of-concept fails the requirements.

Your local Aruba sales team probably has insights in what is the status for that equipment that you have there. Also, the shipping label may provide contact information.
