Forgive me for the newb question but I am trying to get PIM-DM working and no matter what I try, I cant seem to get it to work correctly. I have a 2930m single switch. I've searched this forum high and low and although I come close to getting it to work. It doesnt. This is what I have so far

    ip routing
    ip multicast-routing

    vlan 10
    untagged 1-2,4-47
    ip address 10.0.10.1 255.255.255.0
    ip igmp
    ip pim-dense
    ip-addr any
    exit
    dhcp-server
    exit

    vlan 20
    untagged 3
    ip address 10.0.20.1 255.255.255.0
    ip igmp
    ip pim-dense
    ip-addr any
    exit
    dhcp-server
    exit

    IP Multicast Route Entries

Total number of entries : 10

Group Address Source Address Neighbor VLAN
    --------------- --------------- --------------- ----
    224.0.1.129 10.0.10.4 10.0.10.4 10
    224.0.1.129 10.0.10.38 10.0.10.38 10

    224.0.37.42 10.0.10.220 10.0.10.220 10
    239.65.67.73 10.0.10.220 10.0.10.220 10
    239.195.188.235 10.0.10.220 10.0.10.220 10

    239.255.255.250 10.0.10.200 10.0.10.200 10
    239.255.255.250 10.0.10.219 10.0.10.219 10

The last command does not show any neighbors on VLAN 20.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Justin

    Hi Justin,

Because PIM-DM is related to switch configuration I would recommend this be a post for the Wired Intelligent Edge community within this forum.

Try 'router pim enable' at the global level also. You haven't specified that as enabled in your notes above.
I found this in the Aruba 2930M/F Multicast and Routing Guide for AOS-S 16.11.
