Airwave failover servers

    If i Have around 20000 AP – 30 MC – 2 MM – 500 RAP
    What is required airwave and failover servers for N+1 redudancy
    1- Six Airwave and one Failover Server
    2- Six Airwave and two Failover Server
    3- Five Airwave and one Failover Server
    4- Five Airwave and two Failover Server

    and why ?

    Each enterprise Airwave server support 4000 devices, with this count you need five servers and one failover server. We have Central on prem  code released last month, please check with Aruba sales team for more details they will suggest right product.

    Note that we have 20000 AP – 30 MC – 2 MM – 500 RAP  which mean 20532 device not 20K only . so I think we need 6 server not 5 right

    I dont recall exact number but we can add for sure more than 10 Primary AMPs in Failover server. If youhave more primary servers, for higher redundancy we can have two failover server.

    For example if we have 10AMPs, we can add five in each failover server. As there is high chance more than ONE primary amp CAN goes down in larger network at same time. Failover server can restore only one primary backup and start act as primary at any single point of time.

    As per recommendations, yes if it is more than 20000 device count we need six primary servers but 532 APs count is not high and if it is divided and added across all five servers then it should be fine.

    the Max number for AMP is 4K devices  right so how 532 device can divided on the AMP , so the AMP will handed more that 4K not 4K ,
