Hello I was looking at the FlexFabric 5710 Switch (it 's a 10G Base-T switch)

Is there any Alternative switch with Aruba I should consider?

    Hi @nflnetwork29 !

When you are looking for alternatives for 5710 you need to define what features are you looking for. There are plenty of 10G switches out there, but the feature set is the important point here. When you know the list of the features that you need, we can discuss what could be the alternative for 5710, until then we can point you to any 10GBASE-T capable device, but I believe this recommendation is not what you are looking for...

Looks like the Aruba is about $10,000 more expensive (List price)

Do we know why this Aruba is more expensive? What features does it have? (That the 5710 does not)

Is there an easy "compare" option tool that HPE might have ?

    Please share.

If the comparable model of the Aruba 8320 Switch series is more expensive than the HPE FlexFabric 5710 (I'm not totally sure about that) then go straight with the 5710 and no regrets. The 5710 is Comware 7 based, fits perfectly in a Data Center environment, it's pretty robust (from both the HW and SW PoV), it has plenty of DC related features (IRF included if you have more than one to cluster) and had a proven track of being a good workhorse in DC...if instead, it's a matter of budget, there are alternatives for sure.
