What is the Maximum number of DB connections can be set in Service Parameter on CPPM?

Environment : This applies to CPPM version 6.3.

 

 

The Maximum number of DB connections which can be set in Service Parameter are as below.
 

 

–CP-HW-500/VA-500 = 400 connections

 

–CP-HW-5K/VA-5K = 700 connections

 

–CP-HW-25K/VA-25K = 1000 connections 

 

 

NOTE: If we make this change, a reboot is required.

These changes can be made from "Administration » Server Manager » Server Configuration" tab as shown below.

The default value is 400. It is suggested to tweak the number of connections  based on the values given above for better performance.
