    Hello Dears,

In a Controller-Mode AP's, is it possible to have both 2.4GHz & 5GHz under the same SSID?

If that's possible, will there be any criteria for bindig a device to either 2.4 or 5Ghz? Can we have a load balancing? Assuming the connected devices supports both.

    Thanks.

    1.Yes
    2. The client makes the decision whether or not it connects to 5ghz. This can be influenced by having the 5ghz radio have more signal strength on the AP. Client-match will also seek to move a client to the 5ghz band if the signal is measurably better than the 5ghz.

But if we restricted the number of clients per SSID to 60 for example, can we specify each radio will not have more than 30 Clinets/AP?

Meaning, 30 clients max on 2.4GHz, and another 30 max on 5 GHz?

If this limit was reached for 2.4GHz, and the 2.4GHz has better coverage than the 5GHz, can then the Client connect to the 5GHz in this case? (Assuming his device supports the 5GHz).

    Thanks.
