if the APs are IAP-315s, then after factory reset, they will be instant APs.
but if they are AP-315s, then they will be a controller based APs after the factory reset.

Subject: 315AP management of device via lan?
I've had 6 aruba 315s that have mistakenly been defaulted and we have lost contact to them no matter what I try to get onto them browse/ssh/telnet I don't have a console lead.
i've put them into there own vlan and they do not form a IAP I've put them up 1 at a time and cannot manage them. i can ping them, they receive a dhcp address but cannot manage at all any ideas?
can you please confirm if the defaulted ap's will be iAP or campus once they reboot?
