    hi,

     

    unfortunately I found no other way to ask this question directly to an hp support employee..

    I've an 3com switch 3226 with an serial number similar to 0200/123456789ABCD and now want to check my warranty state.. didn't find anything in the www so far..

     

    the fan of my switch is faulty and I want to know if it's an warranty case..

    Have you tried contacting the HPSC?

    I know that this is not an official hp support forum, but I hoped to get any help anyway..

     

    I'm not able to use the hp support center functions because I don't know how to enter the serial number correctly and I don't have an product number, only a partnumber which looks like 175009-110-000-2.00 and I don't think this is an accepted product number for hp.....

    Hi!

     

    That is not a valid serial by a long shot.  Please check the sticker on the bottom of the switch for the part number and the real serial number.

     

    You can check the warranty status here...
