    We are supporting a client with a HPE Aruba Switch (5412Rzl2 J9851A). It is currently running Software Version : KB.16.01.0006. We are planning on upgrading it to the most recent recommended firmware. 
    Do we need to upgrade to intermediate images before in order to upgrade to KB.16.11.0015

    generally this is mentioned in the release notes.
