6100 can not mirror to CPU?

    Hi all,

    we have 6100 JL675A switches and wanted to mirror to the CPU for troubleshooting.

    According to the monitoring guide for 4100/6000/6100 this is possible since 10.07 but the switch does not have the commands:

    The switch is also missing the "diag utilities tshark" command:


    Also, there is no command to copy tshark-files:


    These are all commands that are documented in the monitoring guide for 6100, but are not available in the switch.


    Do I have to enable something?

    Hi Bjarne,

    I am afraid this guide is incorrect.

    Mirror to CPU is available on other AOSCX switches such as 6300, 8320, 8400, etc. but not on 6100. Also, it is not available neither on 4100i nor on 6000 as well.
    Same for the mirror source - these models can use only interface as source.
