While data center networking has evolved over the past decade providing higher-performing 25/100/400G leaf-spine topologies - security and services architectures have not evolved. Centralized security appliances aren't up to the task of inspect and protect the majority traffic within the data center. It's not operationally or economically practical to deploy appliances in every rack, and hair-pinning traffic to an appliance sitting at the data center edge. This session will detail how Aruba and Pensando are delivering the industry's first distributed services switch – the Aruba CX 10000 - that distributes intelligence to the data center network-server edge, radically simplify legacy design and operations and accelerating network and security services.
