so i tried adding manually the virtual switch to Greenlake in order to add it to Aruba Central by entering the serial number and base mac (mgmt int) but i get the message that is blocked, not recognized or already in use. 

we hoped that this was possible in order to build and test configs template otherwise we need to wait 3-4 months for our network equipment to arrive
so my question is, is this even possible?
and if not is there another solution available to build and test without physical hardware.

Hi, does anybody know if it is possible to add the AOS-CX OVA to Aruba Central for testing purposes?

no you can't. it has to be a physical switch.
