Either I read somewhere or someone told me that a single ALE 2.x server will support up to 2000 access points and 100 controllers depending on the size of the appliance or VM.

With respect to the controllers, is this physical controllers or could this be Aruba Instant Virtual Controllers?

For example, if a customer had 200 shops each with a single Aruba instant in them, does this mean that they would need 2 ALE servers to support the 200 virtual controllers they have?

    Cheers

    Mike,

We could add around 100 controllers and 8 Airwave in single ALE server but should not cross the APs limit mentioned in the server sizing guide.

So if you are planning to add individual VCs then max we could add 100 entries in single ALE.
