    Hello guys,

Regarding gateway redundancy, the provider has delivered me two patches (two separated physical paths) at my corporate. Both pass the same subnet /30 (a single public ip address to a singel gateway)
Switching over manually works fine. When I connect my firewall to the first patch, I go online. When I plug the cable over to the second path, I stay online.
Is it possible to have an dynamic failover solution at switching level ?
Notice that FHRP concept doesn't fit here since I have 1 public ip only.

    All ideas are appreciated

    1. What is the Model and Version running in the Switching devices.
    2. Is the Firewall in HA mode ? What is the Model of Firewall does it support OSPF,BGP.
    3. From Switchin perspective we can only think of FHRP like VRRP for redundancy as an option but there are ways we can try implementing OSPF if the switches are capable handling L3 ?
