I have looked through the airgroup troubleshooting guide (http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Troubleshooting/ArubaOS/AirGroup_Troubleshooting/Web_Help_Index.htm#arubaframestyles/preface/contacting__networks.htm%3FTocPath%3D_____3), I have followed the airgroup profile setup (http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-Based-WLANs/How-could-we-have-the-Sonos-wireless-speakers-work-with-Aruba/ta-p/234162 and http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Wireless-Water-Cooler/Using-Sonos-HiFi-Wireless-Speaker-System-with-AirGroup/td-p/214659) but I am still experiencing issues. A sonos system that was set up prior to enabling airgroup is able to connect after I configure the system as required in the above articles but when I try to add a new speaker or set up an entirely new system, it gets to the end of the sonos process and fails. After it fails, the sonos system is seen on the proper network (meaning it got the required info it needed), and I can see both the airgroup user and server within the cli. We have enforce registration on, and I have created a policy for the airgroup server that allows it to talk to anybody with the same role. I'm not sure what to try next... I have had a few support cases open which have gotten me to this point but not past it. Any ideas?
Edit: While searching through the ArubaOS 8.2.0.0 user guide, we found the following line "Wireless Clients such as ipad and iphone running the sonos application cannot discover sonos music system with the airgroup is enabled".... any idea when this will be supported? Is there a way to leave airgroup on for our airplay/print devices, and allow the sonos to work within the vlan that the clients are connected to? This is very frustrating....
