AP-placement for maximum gain.

    Hello,

     

    in the datasheets we found the following notice of different APs (AP205 - AP 225 - ... )

    "downtilt angle for maximum gain is approximately 30 degrees."

    I saw the antenna plots, but it looks neglible, or am I mistaking? Are there mountingkits to do this? Will this give a big improvement?

    That is just noting the angle of the antenna coverage's maximum gain. It doesn't mean that you can or should mount it at any other angle other than flat on the ceiling.
