My name is Kristjan and I work in IT support at our company.
We have an Aruba 1830 Switch (PoE) 24g JL813A that we use in our company for our networking that is linked using other higher Aruba Switches like 48g etc. together.
The switch is relativly new but we have a problem with it that happened for the 2nd time.
The SW was setup accordingly, the management port was set and the ports that are not used are locked. We had an unpredictable outage some month ago and the Switch altho was working couldn't be accessed through the management port we set. We factory reset the switch and re-setuped everithing as it was.
Now there was another outage and the same thing happened. The switch practically works fine but we can't ping it nor we can't access it, but it works ...
We tried to restart the switch, directly connect on it without success.
If possible I really don't want to setup it again. Can someone please give me a hint what is going on here?
