    Hello ,

i had to add 2 uplinks  between 2 switches aruba 2930, when i did it , i lost connection .

    i have 3 vlans :

    vlan 3 data , vlan 5 : mngt , vlan 7  :  sdwan transit to the primary switch .

uplink 1 : untagged vlan 5 and tagged vlan 3

uplink 2: untagged vlan 7 and tagged vlan 3

when i added the uplink 2 i lost network

PLease what is the solution without using STP to have both uplinks up  ?

    thanks

Hi, I think you can configure a VSF between the 2 - 2930F so you dond't need STP(between those 2) and you can use 2 links for the VSF link.

    I hope this helps

Why do you need two uplinks between two standalone switches if you are not also planning to configure STP? are you trying to work with MSTP? consider that VSF is just a way of "aggregating" two (or more) switches together to create a single logical switching and routing entity (STP clearly can be still deployed) and it doesn't necessarily mean that a loop free topology (or a non loop free topology properly managed by STP) can be simply ignored.
