  • 1.  Aruba 2930M 48G (JL321A) Port 45-48 PoE??

    Hello Forum,

     

    I have noticed that a visio stencil of an Aruba 2930M 48G (JL321A) contains the information that ports 45-48 are labeled as "Dual Personality Ports". These indicate that said ports are autosensing BASE-T PoE+ ports. I have checked the quickspecs but couldn't find any information regarding those 4 ports being PoE+. Can somebody confirm or deny this infromation?

    AFAIK the JL321A (the Aruba 2930M 48G has not PoE/PoE+) has latest four ports (45-48) as "combo" ports AKA "dual personality" ports (So each one of those ports works either in S mode when a SFP is used or wors in T mode where no SFP is used).

    I double checked the switch and it seems the PoE+ part is indeed a misinformation. Thank you for replying.
