    Hi,

I have a strange problem with a Aruba 3600 controller cluster.

    Firmware: 6.4.4.16

I can't log in with ssh to the controller:

    - https works

    - ssh is enabled Username/Password authentication mode

    - Local Authentication is allowed

    - I get a login prompt

    - authentication fails with credentials that work with https

    Any suggestions.

    Best regards

    Joachim

Can you login to the serial console with the same credentials?

Could it be that you have special characters in your password (like ' & # " ß)? I think there was in the past something that in the WebUI such characters were 'escaped' and stored incorrectly. If you can change the password, try to change it to a simple one to see if that may be the case.

If that is the case, or to get updated anyway, you may try to upgrade to the latest version for the 3600: 6.4.4.23.

Thank you for the reply. There is no way to access the console. The controller is remote at a customer site. Indeed there are special characters in the pw, but using a simple one didn't work either.

    I'll investigate further.
