Hi we have almost 3000 aruba 515 AP's connected to

    Boot partition
    Backup partition

Here is just one example of an AP rebooting and bootstrapping.

So my questions. Why would the AP's be rebooting so many times?

What does bootstrapping mean in simple terms?

Is there a SNMP OID to identify the switch IP the AP is connected to?

And is there a SNMP OID to show which SSID's the AP is broadcasting?

    Thank you.

APs bootstrapping is a fairly common reference in known bugs for release notes, I would check the release notes for your version to see if anything stands out. The AP itself doesn't support SNMP, but you can find the info you asked for from the AAC's CLI -

"show ap lldp neighbor ap-name <ap-name>"  to show the switch / port it's connected

"show ap bss-table ap-name <ap-name>" to show the SSIDs being broadcast from the AP

Rebootstrapping is the AP failing over to another mobility gateway most of the time.
