Aruba 7240XM

    Hello, one of our customers has a pair of 7240 controllers with high utilisation. As they have gone EoL they have ask for a quote for the  JW833A Aruba 7240XM. What is this, is it a memory upgrade or a controller swap / exchange?

    I found this on Iris so unlike the 3200 memory upgrade it does appear to be a controller swap out: -

     

    7240 to 7240XM Upgrade

    7240XM-UG is the 7240XM upgrade SKU, priced at $2995. The customer can order the upgrade SKU, get shipped the 7240XM and will have 60 days from the time the order is placed to return the old 7240 SKU. At the end of 60 days, the customer will be invoiced for the differential amount ($39,995 - $2995) and will be responsible for the invoice in 30 days
