    My Aruba AP-315, after reset, cannot access or set up. Anyone can help pls.

    is this a controller based AP or instant AP? and what firmware version are you running?

    Hello, thanks for replying. There is no controller based on the AP. The AP is connected to the POE switch to the network, but it also cannot show any SSID wifi channel to connect, so we cannot set the AP after resetting.

    I don't really know the firmware version.

    an Ap-315 requires a controller. An IAP-315 can operate as an Aruba Instant AP. If you have an Ap-315, it requires a controller to function.

    thats right, look at the sticker at the back of the AP and it should say either AP-315 or IAP-315.

    if it is AP-315, then you need to have a controller.

    What behavior are you seeing from the IAP?  If you've performed a reset using the reset button then the IAP, assuming no other IAP is operating in the VLAN, should come up with default configuration and be broadcasting the SetMeUp SSID.  You should also be able to SSH to the IAP at whatever IP address is pulled by DHCP.
