In Aruba Central > Monitoring & Reports > Network Overview : "Top Clients by Usage", I saw on browser console that it is using the response from this API request:
https://app2-ap.central.arubanetworks.com/monitor/overview/stats/leaderboard/1568769080761/1568779880761?timeStamp=1568779880762
Is there any documentation on how to use APIs like this?I cannot see them in https://api-ap.central.arubanetworks.com/swagger/central
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jeffrey Castro
The swagger includes the details bout the API. To authenticate and generate tokens, you can see details here: https://help.central.arubanetworks.com/2.4.9/documentation/online_help/content/api/apigw-bootstrap.htm
Good day Rafael,
Thank you for your reply, I saw the swagger documentation, but the API I am looking for is not there:
Cannot find any "stats/leaderboard" anywhere.
Jeffrey
We cannot see the content of your link, can you share a screenshot?
Depending of what do you want, you'll need to use the API methods and options currenlty available in Swagger.
Good day,
Below is the screenshot of the output of https://app2-ap.central.arubanetworks.com/monitor/overview/stats/leaderboard/1567267200000/1569859199000
It returns the "top_aps" and "top_clients".
This API is used by Aruba Central to populate a part of its dashboard (Monitoring & Reports > Network Overview), that is why I was curious as to where the documentation to this API is.
You have this data in Swagger:
GET/monitoring/v1/aps/bandwidth_usage/topn
GET/monitoring/v1/clients/bandwidth_usage/topn
