    Hi Guys,

    I am new in Aruba solutions and I know in a high level we can put the APs or controllers or both to the Aruba Central Cloud solution.

    My question now is, if I decided to put only my APs to Aruba Central Cloud,

    1. I should run AOS 10 or AOS 8 can do?
    2. How can I integrate my wireless network to my on-premise CPPM if there is no more wireless controller?
    3. How can I integrate my wireless network to my Azure CPPM if there is no more wireless controller?

    Aruba Central supports APs running Instant APs firmware AOS8.x and the new architecture running AOS10

    Aruba Central supports Gateways as long as they are running AOS10. check the AOS10 overview 

    Generally you use ClearPass as the authentication server and/or Captive portal redirection.

    if your ClearPass is in Azure, then the APs/switches need to get to its IP address for authentication either using Internet by using Radsec protocol or if yo have Azure ExpressRoute by using RADIUS auth protocol.

    In AOS10 if you don't have gateways then each AP will be authenticating against  ClearPass  and if you have Aruba Instant AOS8.x then the AP that is elected to be the VC  can use radius proxy to authenticate against ClearPass on behalf of the APs in Instant Cluster.
