Alerts in Aruba Central allow network administrators and users with admin permissions to configure alerts. The configuration view is not available to users who do not
have edit permission to the Alerts and Events module.
The Config icon is visible to the users when at least the below Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) conditions are met:

    • Group Management Service – View rights
    • Label Management Service – View rights
    • Site Management Service – View rights
    • NMS Service Alerts and Events – Edit rights
    • User Scope – All Groups
The Alerts & Events pane displays all types of alerts and events generated for events pertaining to device provisioning, configuration, and user management
The column Elapsed Time, in the Acknowledged Alerts table, shows the timestamp difference between when a specific alert occurred and when that alert was acknowledged
    Achievable IT and business outcomes
    • IT Managers can control the flow of alerts and event notifications to prevent "Alert fatigue"
    • Increases IT efficiency by assigning alerts to the right IT staff level and expertise based on their severity and impact
    • Enable integration with third-party ITSM platform via Webhooks for increased productivity
    • Site specific email address can be configured for notification alerts, enabling better problem isolation and faster time to resolution

Please watch the following video if you want more details on how to setup Alerts and have it automatically send notifications to ServiceNow
