Can you clarify what you are saying here?

I am using Aruba Central and VXLAN/EVPN/VSX.
I am using the Template groups to do what I want. The UI groups do not provide the config that you need/want for VXLAN/EVPN (you will see all kinds of references to this in Aruba Marketing but it is all lies/unreleased features/beta/very frustrating).

^Lies and not a thing until 2.5.6 cluster upgrade. Even then, you can not use it. I created a new Aruba Central setup on a upgraded cluster and it was missing.

^This looks like it is required before you can use NetConductor
Global Client Roles support is selectively available. Contact your Aruba Account Manager to enable it in your Aruba Central account.
Client Roles will not show up in Aruba Central even with an upgraded cluster to 2.5.6.
Routing -> Fabrics do not show up even with 8xxx switches in Aruba central (currently)

Here is another fun one:
https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/central/2.5.5/content/nms/subscriptions/overview-licensing.htm
Aruba Central does not provide Switch Advanced Licenses.
We were sold on EVPN/VXLAN and Aruba Central. I was also told by a SE that switch advanced licenses do not exist and would not be needed.
https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/central/latest/content/nms/subscriptions/overview-licensing.htm
- Advanced-This license provides all the features included in the Foundation License, with additional feature related to Central NetConductor .
The old bait and switch tactic...
Fun story - If you spend the money on AP advanced licenses, you may have tons of issues and work with support for 3+ months trying to get your actual advanced licenses. First you will have a SE tell you that AP foundation is just what it is called (not an issue) and all is well. Then you will have tons of back and forth between your SE/sales manager/support and still have no resolution.

Not the only license they can sell you that doesnt work either. The license for R8L06AAE - should be:
Aruba Central 84xx/83xx/64xx/54xx Switch Foundation 5 year Subscription Government E-STU
https://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/ds/DS_Aruba-Central-for-Government.pdf

I currently do not have any licenses that work for my 8325 switches....

Hi, our customer needs an ArubaOS-CX solution that includes ZTP. Can we configure DCN features such as VXLAN, EVPN, VSX in Aruba Central?
If not, can we still use Netedit if the switches are managed using Aruba Central, so we can still configure those features with Netedit?
Thank you.
